INSTALLATION
After downloading the file , please use WinRAR or compatible to extract its contents program. Note that there will be , within the folder , a file in ISO format, which is an extracted CD image.
Not need to burn this file to a blank CD , you can create a virtual drive for your computer, allowing you to view all your content . The program used by us for the task was Virtual Clone Drive .
After downloading and installing the program on the computer , notice that a new CD drive is available for use . To emulate the ISO file of Red Alert just click the right mouse button on the drive , choose " Mount " option and select the file for the image of the game .
Now click again on the virtual drive with the right mouse button and choosing " Explore " option. Access the SETUP95 folder and find the executable " INSTALL" . Right click on it and select "Properties " option.
"Compatibility " tab, check the " Run this program in compatibility mode " Alternatively, select the option for Windows 95 . This setting is essential for the game to be installed correctly.
After completing the installation of the game , go back to the file you downloaded and find the folder XP_Patch . Copy the file only gift it to the root of the game folder , usually located in C :/ WESTWOOD / RedAlert .
