Participate in auctions to buy and sell players , try to grow your team and understanding among its players . And, of course , compete in tournaments and matches with your team . Winning, you get experience points and virtual money to spend on buying new promises to improve your team .
In Online Multiplayer mode you challenge players worldwide . Try to beat them and climb the world rankings! The Manager , Tournament and Kick Off modes , however , are only available if you pay for them .
As in the PC version and console , FIFA 14 for mobile also proposes Match Day , a function which allows the game to experience all the happenings of daily life of a club. The incidents , the physical condition of athletes and tactical changes , for example , an impact on the game and updating your virtual team.
FIFA 14 brings 33 championships , including the Brazilian League , the Spanish League , Premier League and Bundesliga . There are more than 600 clubs , over 16,000 players and 34 stadiums faithfully recreated . And just like in the console , you reach achievements by completing specific objectives .
The game's interface has been completely revamped , following the style and design of the new PC version , which offers improved usability and navigation through menus .
New controls based touch gestures
FIFA 14 also introduces a new type of touch control , gesture-based , swype and tapping . The idea is interesting, but requires a bit of practice to master the ball well . Thinking about it , the game includes a detailed tutorial that explains how to use the new type of control.
If you prefer the classic virtual joypad , you can choose between the options. During our test , we were more comfortable with this type of control than with the new gesture-based .
Few graphical improvements , excellent soundtrack
The 3D graphics are good and the animations and movements of the players , although a bit slow , are compelling . It was missing a touch of fluidity and speed in the pace of play. Actually , do not notice big improvements over the previous version .
The songs in the menus are great, but is not new : EA always cared most of all the soundtrack of FIFA franchise.
The sound effects during games are not very different from those in the previous version . The presence of the reviews (only in English, Spanish , Italian, German and French ) , however , makes the game more exciting . A pity that the narration was missing in Portuguese .
